A meandering 600 page prologue that is somehow both painfully self deprecating, and autofellatial, at the same time.

Dune, but from a Paul raised by the Harkonnens comes to mind.

Given the praise, I will continue.

This easily could’ve been 200 pages less without the fluff. I don’t need 3 pages describing what the chair you’re sitting on looks like. The world was built well but I was bored half the time
