There could have never been two hearts so open, no tastes so similar, no feelings so in unison, no countenances so beloved. Now they were as strangers; nay, worse than strangers, for they could never become acquainted. It was a perpetual estrangement.

Full of subtle yearning and clever social commentary. A very lovely work by Austen but nothing can compare to Pride and Prejudice in my heart I fear.

The perfect second-chance romance. The yearning, the will they, won’t they. The struggling to read the other’s mind and to see that they still loved each other. It was perfect! I loved every second of it!
