yearning that transcends time, space, and reason…and a bittersweet ending. beautiful prose..one of the most creative stories I’ve read. Each reincarnation from Babylon to a gender apocalypse 3000 years in the future is so fully fleshed out and engrossing. Deliciously queer :) Love in any form is really the only thing we have in this universe….

Some beautiful writing

But it doesn't feel all that queer? It's not using the device of switching bodies and the gender of the lover to investigate anything about gender or sexuality, which was what I was hoping to get out of this. Oh well!
