Once we have total power, what's to keep us from becoming villains ourselves?

love the character dilemmas and misunderstanding in this one, also never knowing what will happen next. was a bit more dragged out than the first one but i'm excited to dive into the third book!

This book (second in the trilogy) makes up for the first one, filling in on some character holes and introducing a real plot.

4.5! i loved this sm, the characters and their flaws felt so flushed out and well written, you could see anyone’s side. the development between nova and Adrian felt so perfectly childish. it was slow at times but other than that
