Not sure how or why some people view this as a great romance to inspire the masses. There are some beautiful lines of poetry by good ol" Mr. Shakespeare, but otherwise, it fails in this respect. That's fine with me. It's a tragedy, remember? I do find it tragic. Yes, the title couple were stupid, impulsive teenagers, but I didn't want two kids to die for their stupidity. Romeo shouldn't have wasted time pining over Rosaline and switch to Juliet two seconds later. Juliet should've been happy with Paris, but she's 13… What does she know? Still, it's Shakespeare. Not Hamlet, but enjoyable.
