Unfortunately, we were not taught in freshman English that we were to read this play as social criticism. Perhaps when I read it again I will have a better opinion of it.

Some of the best parts of this play: the language, Shakespeare’s writing, the diction, the syntax, the language, the writing, the whole way it’s written, Shakespeare’s words that he puts down, okay? Okay.

I enjoyed Tybalt because he reminds me of a greaser and, truly, how cool is ‘Prince of Cats?’

I forget how hilarious and clever Shakespeare is. My students may not have loved it as much as I did, but I got verbal exclamations several times so I’ll take it.

It was an ok book. The best part was the tragedy.

"¿Tierno el amor? Es demasiado rudo, tan brusco, tan punzante y turbulento…"
