I really liked Pride and Prejudice. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did, but I did really love it! It took me a while to get through, but I loved the way Jane Austin wrote the characters. They were so real, and so frustrating at some points.
I enjoyed how Elizabeth grew as a person and understand her own flaws, but also that she. was still very much herself. I watched the movie before reading this, and I only sort of understood the hype around Mr. Darcy. It wasn't until I read this that I understood why people like him so much. Can't say I'm foaming at the mouth, but he's an awesome love interest.
All the characters were really well written, even the ones I didn't like,
such as Mr. Collins
, and the conflict never felt too overbearing. It seemed very real and urgent.

At first I watched the 2005 movie adaption of Pride and Prejudice. I loved the movie so much that when I got to know that it was actually a book adaption I did not hesitate and immediately bought the book. This was no mistake because I enjoyed the book even more than I did the film. The details, the characters, the story line, everything was very well written I really enjoyed the constant yearning in this book which I thought to be very romantic. Another thing that really intrigued me about this book is the hidden cues about social differences which were the case back then. It was really one of my favourite books I have ever read so far.

I've read this book a handful of times, and I will read it a handful more. I just love these characters and I love this book.
