This is a gut punch crying fest of a book.  The emotions of losing your husband, your first true love and what it takes to piece yourself together and move on and find love again...just to be thrust back into the past when your fisrt true love returns from the dead.   I loved the juxtaposition of first love and how it isn't always the same as a later in life love.  She found her courage to be independent and chase her dreams with Jesse but she found comfort, home and family with Sam.   So good.
