I liked all the characters. Their decisions made sense, they had relatable, unique backgrounds. No one is completely right or wrong or good or bad. It felt very honest and even though the romance and plot are unbelievable, they’re somehow believable

This book was hard to get through for me. I wasn’t really into it.

I wanted more from this, but it was decent. I’m definitely glad Emma ended up with Sam, but I was pissed about the Maine weekend. I feel like if the roles were reversed it would be super not ok- within the narrative and to the reader- so why is it just chill no big deal?

Aside from that, the book was really great. I loved Emma rediscovering herself, building a strong relationship with Marie and her parents, being unafraid to become a different person.

Would’ve been 4 ⭐️ if not for the Maine weekend.
