Finally the queer girls get a got-drunk-&-married-in-vegas story!

This book starts off feeling like a fun, rom-com type of romance story. But it is so much more than that.

This book offers an incredible exploration of mental illness and the stigma of mental illness. More than that, a central theme of the story is figuring out your pathway post graduation, something that I truly appreciated at this point in my life.

While some readers have labelled this book as young adult, it is not. The main character is 28 and the plot reflects this stage in life in a very genuine way. It does, however, have a similar writing style to YA books making this an excellent gateway book.

Me gustó mucho esta historia. Pensé que era una romcom (y si bien tiene elementos de romcom, es mucho más). Sobre todo toca temas de salud mental (ansiedad, depresión, self harm, ataques de pánico) y auto descubrimiento que la autora supo manejar muy bien. Hubo algunos momentos donde por ahí la trama resultaba un poco repetitiva pero solo un par de veces. También hubo algunos diálogos medio empalagosos pero nada del otro mundo. Fue un libro que me gustó bastante y lo recomiendo mucho.

The way this author writes is very beautiful, but I think the story itself had a lot of pacing issues that made it difficult for me to really engage with the story.
