The relationship between Wren and Ryker was filled with heavy emotions and the coming together of two broken people so that they can become whole together.
Patricia writes believable stories with a ton of emotion and incredible action.

Wren had no place at any time being part of the mission. Its another case of the h behaving like she knew more than a seasoned warrior, and the H giving in to her. The woman had a level of anxiety high enough she needed medication. Then, she wouldn't do like any one asked.
Ryker finally found some peace, but I have to wonder if the story would have been more interesting if Inara had been involved earlier on.

Ryker and Wren’s story was amazing. My heart hurt for Ryker and all he had been through but I loved how Wren could see through his pain and to the real him and brought him out of his shell. Wren was tenacious, loyal, and loving. The action kept me on the edge of my seat and was very entertaining.

This was a book with a different twist on the Russian bratva and damaged military souls.
Ry and wren were suffering in their own but together they managed to save themselves and fulfil her brothers request to save his friends. Along the way a rescue mission turns in to chaos and when soon finds out how her brother dealt with the anxiety and panic that became their lives. As ry battled his past and present he found his future and would die before giving her up. A great read makes me want to read the previous books in the series to learn about the other characters in this story.

On His Six by Patricia D. Eddy is a dark and gritty story. The story is gut-wrenching and intense right from the start and doesn't stop. On His Six is a book you won't be able to put down once you start.
Ryker's life hasn't been the same since he barely returned home from being a prisoner of war. He is greatly damaged both on the surface and inside. He feels he is undeserving of friendship and love. Wren is a brilliant hacker who lives off coffee suffers from anxiety attacks that seem to control her life. When he literally runs into Wren, he decides to help her when no one else will. Her mission to fulfill her brother's last wish includes the Russian mob so things get dangerous real quick.
Ryker and Wren's story is intense, nerve wrecking, raw and beautiful. They are both broken souls who give each other hope and peace from their demons. They steady each other and understand each other like no one else ever has.
This is my first Patricia D. Eddy book and it will not be my last. I kind of want to go back and read the other two books of hers set in this world and I'll be keeping an eye out for the next one.
"This girl -woman- does something to me I don't like. I can't get enough of her. She's innocent, but not. Sweet, but not. All contradictions and mysteries I'd love to solve. "

"I could kiss this man every day for the next month and it wouldn't be enough. I shouldn't need him. Shouldn't want him. There's a darkness inside him i fear will consume him one day. But I can't help myself. He's broken in all the wrong ways . Perfect in all the right ones. "
