Inspiring, lovely characters.  The book tackles difficult issues of friendship, death and religion superbly.  Thoroughly enjoyed this one.

I found the book to be very inspiring in regards to how different people can come together and still build a friendship. I loved reading about all the different relationships developing and I felt so happy for Jo when she stopped thinking about her ex and going back to that relationship. I loved Malcolm and Reverend Ruth and loved delving into the Highgate Cemetery ghosts.

I wanted to like this so badly and there were bits that I did find quite fun, but overall it unfortunately fell flat for me. I found it very slow and was forcing myself through to the end.
