Enjoyed the book a lot! I do wish they would have gotten more into why she was so afraid to trust him though.

I feel like

Violet’s wanderlust was never addressed (seems like she would want to travel now that her mom is holding her to the town, but it’s clear Eli wants to settle down in the town with his family)

and I think Eli let

Violet off way too easily with her thinking he would sabotage her with the pictures like that.

But I liked the writing style so I will give the rest of the series a try.
