A runaway bride, a broody billionaire and a small mountain town...I am intrigued. This is about Rosey who runs away on her wedding day and ends up in a small town in Colorado and meets Byron who befriends her and helps her out.

Rosey and Byron are so great together. I love their instant attraction and keeping their boundaries. What I really appreciate is both of their growth journey. I always love small town setting with quirky characters.

Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor did a great job with the narration and brought the humor to life.

Thank you @hambright_pr @authorlouisebay for a copy of the audiobook.

I hadn’t loved Louise Bay’s latest books, but I really liked this one. Cute relationship, right balance of issues/romance. Decent spicy scenes, but can always be a little spicier to me. Didn’t love quite how much exposition there was. Felt like there was more telling than showing about her discomfort with being a kept woman. Not five stars, but pretty good.

I received an auto ARC of Love Fast and was instantly pulled in—Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor absolutely nailed the narration! Their chemistry brought the story to life, and I couldn’t stop listening (I flew through it in a day and a half). Louise Bay did a fantastic job weaving in side characters who truly added to the story rather than fading into the background. I also loved the little hints she dropped to set up the next book—Fisher’s story can’t come soon enough! A fun, steamy listen with heart and depth.

Runaway bride meets broody billionaire in the snowy charm of Star Falls, Colorado—and it’s everything I want from a small-town romance.
Rosey is pure sunshine. Even after walking away from a life that looked perfect on paper, she brings so much warmth, kindness, and humor into every room (or porch). Byron? All grumpy, guarded, and just trying to rebuild something—physically and emotionally. He’s tough to crack at first, but once he starts to let Rosey in? Swoon. Their slow-burn connection had me hooked from the start, with porch talks, snowy nights, and real vulnerability that made the romance feel earned.
This is a fresh start story with themes of self-discovery, second chances, and finding peace in unexpected places. Both Rosey and Byron are working through past wounds, but instead of trauma dominating the plot, it's more about hope, healing, and soft moments that sneak up on you.
I read the ebook first and listened to the audiobook—and wow. Experiencing the story both ways made me love it even more. Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke bring the characters to life with heart. His voice felt a little slower-paced in some chapters, but the emotion was there, and you could tell he understood Byron. Samantha brought Rosey’s spark to every line. Both performances grew on me as the story unfolded.
Whether you read or listen, this book delivers on charm, spice, and emotion. It's the kind of romance that leaves you smiling—and makes you want to book a one-way trip to a snow-covered town.

Love Fast is the first book in the Colorado Club Billionaires series and I loved it. This is a small town / billionaire / runaway bride / workplace romance that follows Byron and Rosie.

We would have met Byron in the New York City Billionaires series. I was immediately intrigued with his character and couldn't wait for his story and I wasnt disappointed.

Byron and Rosie's story was charming, sweet and swoony and had me smiling throughout. Their chemistry was undeniable and the tension between them had me glued to the story, and the steamy scenes were scorching hott

I  loved seeing Rosie find her independence and I loved that Byron never tried to take over but was patient and supportive, and allowed her to find her way.

They both had past circumstances they needed to work out but I loved how at peace they were with each other.

They were supported by a fun cast of secondary characters and I loved that the NY Gang made an appearance.  This was a wonderful read and I would definitely recommend it to romance lovers.

I loved the Audiobook. Jason Clarke & Samantha Brentmoor are two of my favs and they did a fantastic job bringing the story to life. They brought out the emotions and vulnerabilities of the characters but also showcased their strength. Their voices blended well together and they made the listening experience an absolute delight.

Overall Grade: B

Tropes: runaway bride; small town romance; workplace romance; billionaire MMC; he falls first

Louise Bay's Love Fast serves as the inaugural novel in her Colorado Club billionaires series, establishing a narrative foundation that connects to her previous New York City Billionaires collection. This crossover approach allows Bay to introduce readers to Byron, a character previously mentioned in The Hero + Vegas = No Regrets, while simultaneously constructing the framework for her new series.

Bay crafts a four star narrative that explores the relationship between Byron, a privileged billionaire, and Rosey, a woman from modest economic circumstances. The author effectively develops Byron's backstory, creating a multidimensional character whose privileged existence is complicated by emotional trauma. This character development generates reader sympathy, establishing an emotional investment in his narrative trajectory.

The chemistry between Byron and Rosey manifests primarily through physical attraction, though Bay attempts to deepen their connection through parallel experiences of parental trauma. Both protagonists navigate complicated relationships with a parent, creating a psychological foundation for their mutual attraction beyond physical desire. This shared emotional wound becomes the central catalyst for their developing relationship.

Despite Rosey's limited worldly experience and financial disadvantage, Bay positions her as instrumental in supporting Byron's professional ambitions, particularly the development of his Colorado Club resort. Through this dynamic, Bay examines themes of power and privilege, interrogating how socioeconomic disparities influence intimate relationships. The author does not simply acknowledge these disparities but explores how they shape interpersonal dynamics and personal growth.

Beyond the central romance, Bay explores several compelling thematic elements. The narrative considers the nurturing potential of small town communities, illustrating how close knit social structures can support individual development. Additionally, the concept of chosen family emerges as a significant theme, particularly relevant for characters whose biological families prove dysfunctional or absent. Bay further examines how friendship networks can provide emotional sustenance in the absence of healthy parental relationships.

The primary weakness of Love Fast lies in its reliance on the instant attraction trope and the accelerated timeline of emotional development. The rapid progression from initial meeting to profound emotional connection within approximately one week strains credibility. The narrative structure follows a predictable trajectory: protagonists meet, discover physical proximity as neighbors, share innocent moments over hot chocolate, engage in physical intimacy, separate briefly, and reunite weeks later with declarations of love. This compressed emotional timeline limits the opportunity for readers to witness substantial relationship development, sacrificing emotional depth for narrative expedience.

While the instant attraction trope remains standard within the romance genre, its implementation here prioritizes physical connection over emotional evolution. The abbreviated timeline constrains the potential complexity of Byron and Rosey's relationship, reducing what could be a nuanced exploration of class differences and emotional healing to a somewhat formulaic romantic progression.

Despite these limitations, Love Fast remains an engaging introduction to Bay's new series. The author's accessible prose style facilitates reader immersion, and her exploration of emotional trauma provides a counterbalance to the more conventional aspects of the narrative. The novel effectively establishes the world of the Colorado Club billionaires while maintaining connections to Bay's existing literary universe.

For readers who appreciate romance narratives that combine elements of wealth fantasy with emotional healing, Love Fast offers a satisfying, if somewhat predictable, reading experience. Bay demonstrates particular skill in balancing moments of physical intimacy with instances of emotional vulnerability, creating a narrative that, despite its compressed timeline, delivers the emotional satisfaction characteristic of the contemporary romance genre.

The novel suggests significant potential for the Colorado Club billionaires series, establishing narrative threads and secondary characters that promise engaging future installments. While Love Fast might not transcend genre conventions, it skillfully fulfills reader expectations while laying groundwork for a potentially richer series narrative.

Love Fast represents a solid beginning to Bay's new series, balancing familiar romance tropes with meaningful thematic exploration. Despite relying on an accelerated emotional timeline that limits character development depth, the novel successfully establishes both individual character arcs and broader series potential.

Love Fast by Louise Bay is a heart-warming and steamy romance with two incredibly likeable main characters and some real-life challenges for them to overcome to be the people they want to be. Whether you've read Louise Bay's New York Billionaires series where the MMC, Byron, was introduced, or if this is your first Louise Bay book ever, I think you'll fall in love (fast, lol) with Byron. He hides his caretaking, thoughtful, sweet side behind his hot broody facade, but our FMC Rosey quickly finds out that he has a huge, generous heart underneath all that sexiness and hot as hell dirty talk. And Rosey, our Runaway Bride FMC, takes a brave step to not marry a man she never loved and shows so much strength and resilience as she starts a new life in a new state with literally nothing but the wedding dress on her back.

I really loved the chemistry and connection between Rosey and Byron, and how immediately they were drawn to each other and wanted to learn everything about each other. Their sexual chemistry was also 🥵. There's impressive character growth that Rosey goes through by setting boundaries with her family, while also supporting her sisters as best she can. The space that Byron gives her to do that is such a genuine demonstration of love. And Rosey lends Byron her unique perspective to help him see where he really wants to be and what he actually wants from his life. These two just really show up for each other after knowing each other for such a short period of time.

In addition to the romance between these two wonderful characters, we also get some quirky, funny, entertaining small town side characters and appearances of our favorite NYC billionaires and their wives.

I was lucky to receive an ALC of this book, and Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor proved yet again why they're such popular and well-loved narrators. I loved how they portrayed Byron and Rosie and all the emotion they were each feeling throughout the book. I definitely recommend picking up this audiobook!

I wrote this honest review voluntarily and all the opinions are my own.

Love Fast is such a fun, sweet love story of a girl trying to find herself and a guy trying to only focus on his business.

Tropes:
🌲 Billionaire Romance
🌲 Runaway Bride
🌲 Forced Proximity
🌲 Workplace Romance
🌲 Small Town

Rosey is running from everything on her wedding day, and ends up in a small town in Colorado at a bar. Everywhere is booked, except for the extra cabin Byron reserved to stay away from prying eyes. She’s caught his eye, though, and he offers it up to her. He can’t afford distractions, he’s purely back in his hometown to get his luxury resort finished and opened up.

Rosey and Byron’s story was so incredibly good. There were so many sweet moments between these two, and it was so fun to watch Rosey come into herself and gain her independence, while showing Byron what really matters in life and reminding him it’s okay to have happiness in others. Who knew tornados, hot chocolate, and stray cats were all you needed to find the one?

A beautiful love story! I enjoyed listening and reading along to Byron and Rosey. Watching them fall for one another was a wonderful thing to experience. They both had different upbringings and certain events brought them both to star falls where these two met. The steamy scenes were delicious and all the characters in this small town romance were perfect. Now the narrators holy moley did amazing I mean they both could do rosey and Byron and the other characters seamlessly. I was amazed on how each they added nuances to each   character so it would seem like it was a different person. All in all this was amazing!
