I initially picked up this series because one of my favorite booktubers read and recommended the series. This series was a wild roller coaster of emotions and darkness. The fourth book was the hardest to read but her story is important to hear/read. I loved every moment of it. The plot of an FBI Agent and a Serial Killer falling in love…loved it!!!

I knew very little going in to this book series and I usually struggle with dark romance books but this books plot had me hooked so fast and I could not put it down!
Do be warned, if you do not like reading graphic details, this might not be the book for you.

I hardly have words to describe how much I loved this book. It was the darkest, most twisted yet romantic, emotional, spicy yet completely messed up book that I’ve read and it was perfection. I know I’ll be thinking about this one for a long time - it’s easily just become my favorite book.

Hoooollllllyyyy crap. This was my favorite book I’ve read in at *least* 5 years. It’s also the darkest, but I’m morally gray enough to be able to accept the darkest parts of this story because of how justified it feels. My heart was absolutely soaring as I finished the book… and then plummeted when I realized the author that created this amazing work is no longer alive herself to continue writing masterpieces. I will tell everyone about this book to make sure at least the masterpiece she was able to give the world is enjoyed, appreciated, and celebrated.

This was such a fantastic read! There are a lot of triggers in this book so please before reading make sure that you check them. The amount of courage that Lana had in this story is beyond amazing! This was my first time reading a "Dark Romance" and I am officially hooked and want to read more like this. I love highly messed-up stories with a hint of spice and this was so perfect! I am not one for happy endings but everything she went through to get to this point makes me glad that even though he was FBI he opened his eyes to see how messed up the system was and saw her for her! 10/10!!!
