I wish that the book either didn’t put much emphasis on feminism or took s more intersectional approach. I LOVED the plot and i loved seeing Greer grow into the person she was meant to be but it was frustrating and at some points embarrassing to read about her struggles or what she fought for as a feminist. It is acknowledged in the books that her feminism is very privileged and white but to me i feel like mentioning it and seeing that it was there was almost worse! regardless, the plot and the characters make up for that!
Moderate: Child death, Grief, and Sexual assault
Minor: Abortion and Drug use

It felt like there was no real plot to this book, like things happen but it was just wherever the author felt like taking it. Granted, I went into this book having read some negative reviews (to kind of know what I was getting myself into). I didn’t feel like any of the characters were well-rounded, likable people. The whole book felt like a very long-winded way to get in a couple rants about feminism that weren’t usually further discussed/developed. I didn’t find this book awful to get through, but I wouldn’t really suggest it to someone.
Moderate: Sexual harassment, Sexual assault, Death, and Mental illness
