Wittiest and introspective. Haven’t laughed out loud as many times reading a book since Mindy Kaling’s memoirs. Realistic and wise framing of marriage, weddings, and life.

So good I had to read it twice, and will likely dip in again.

Short and sweet. Funny and to the point.

This was much different than I expected. I appreciate the different views on marriage and relationships and what we go through. But the writing style threw me off. I just couldn’t get in to it.

I listened to this essay collection on audiobook and appreciated the format because of its candid tone—although it could be quite melancholic at times. I liked the concept of the book, and it stays on track, but there's nothing memorable about the toasts. They feel pretty predictable. I certainly liked some more than others, but they probably won't stick with me.
