This is a straightforward journey story. Taking a person 'Siddhartha' from naive idealism, to obnoxious wisdom, to decadence and finally arriving at a point of awareness of it all. last chapter, where it sums up the approach of the story is simply beautiful.

I wanted to learn more about Sidhartha, thought this book might be inspiring. He treated people around him like disposable cretins. He was a pretentious idiot and I hated him. I'm too irritated to give this book a better worded review. Such a disappointment.

An allegory of the circle of life, a tale of the spiritual journey. Interesting.

Interesting journey from thinking to feeling. Enjoyable and contains lessons and wisdom. Still cannot reconcile a white man writing from the perspective of an Indian man…
