J'ai définitivement un amour nouveau pour Lovecraft. Ce receuil regroupait certaines de mes choses favorites; la démence, les références religieuses, les histoires de familles tragiques, les légendes, le folklore et la mythologie.
Chaque nouvelle était individuellement excellente, mais le choix de les regrouper ensembles ajoutait un autre niveau. Elles se complètent et s'accompagnent si bien.

Obviously the concept of Lovecraftian horror is full of potential and can be found all over modern pop culture, and while some of these stories had interesting concepts, others were downright boring. The glaring racism doesn't do it any favours either.
I really enjoyed this short story. It was quite predictable, but very fun to read! There are a lot of films/stories with a similar topic, but obviously Lovecraft was one of the first to start it. With that in mind I pretended as if I was in the era that Lovecraft wrote this story.
