This arc has nothing but bangers after bangers after bangers. 

Did I ever mention I love Muichiro? No? Well, I LOVE MUICHIRO. Must protecc.

I don’t think I would’ve ever realised he’s related to upper moon 1 for some reason. I really hope he doesn’t die.

Genya too. Sanemi is starting to grow on me but I don’t think I can form an opinion on him just yet. 
I wish we got to see more of the Rock and Snake Hashiras in action. I hope it’s in the upcoming volumes. 

I love the way the butterfly girls defeated Douma, but I wish Inosuke played a bigger part in it.

 
I wanna see more of Tanjirou and Giyuu as a duo too. Hopefully, they show up more.

The title page for chapter 163 is so beautiful!! We get to see so many Hashira and Demon Slayers in action, and a little peek into some backstories. It’s a little difficult to keep track of upper demons as they quickly get promoted. Things are heating up! Ended on a little cliffhanger.

gotouge's on a friggin roll bc things are not letting up even a bit; it's just bam bam bam one battle after another.

despite things taking a darker - and more gory + fatal - turn now w/ kokushibo's fight, i have to give it to this volume for being able to emotionally wring me. the whole range of emotions known to humans, i felt them all: i teared up from feeling touched, screamed out of shock, all while also learning more abt the characters (esp sanemi). the non-stop action's both exciting and dreadful as well.

i still think the paneling + continuity could be better and the art less wooden, but still cant wait to see this animated. onward to witness the increasing death count. : }
