Someone get Maas a new EDITOR! That coulda been 200 pages shorter. FINALLY SOME GOOD PLOT and a lead who doesnt think rage is a sexy trait. I hope she stops using "feline" "vulgar gesture" and "the male".

Personally, this book and series doesn't excite me. I'm not really a fan of the writing style and the characters seem bland. Also, SJM is problematic, with some of this coming through into the book. If you're a fan of romantasy, I could see why you might like this, but for me, I can't see past the obvious problems with the author and writing. This felt like a fight to read but an improvement from acotar, as some stuff actually happens

Thank goodness this one was so much better (in my opinion) than the first. Everyone who had read this series before me (which, let's be honest, was nearly everyone) warned me the first book was something to get through in order to get to the rest of the series and I'm so glad I did. The romance? A million times better (and hotter) - without spoiling anything, this aspect of the first one just didn't do it for me. The cast of characters? Incomparably more compelling. And the worldbuilding? On point. Definitely a brutal book in parts but hard to put down nonetheless. I am officially joining the chorus: If you didn't like the first book...don't give up just yet.

Where ACOTAR was slow, precise world building, ACOMAF is the home of the strong strides of Feyre & Rhysand’s story.

I was enraptured in this book, devoured it and i can feel the story nestling under my skin and into my bones. I cannot wait to read more of their story, after the strong setup this book leaves for the next one to pick up from.

✨🖤
