Originally read Feb 2022.
If I could give more stars then I would. This 2nd book in the ACOTAR series is absolutely incredible. Mindblowingly brilliant. I cannot explain properly just how fantastic Sarah J Maas tells this story, paints this world and develops these characters. I think this is my favourite book I’ve ever read.
The slow burn between Feyre and Rhysand is just, chef’s kiss, and how would I even describe their relationship once it’s exploded and no longer burning slowly?! Beautiful.
I am so utterly in love with this book and with Feyre and Rhysand, and so utterly grateful to be lucky enough to read this story.
Highly recommend.
Satisfactory ending? Yes, now pass me book 3.

Re-read: Dec 2023. Still 5 stars.

I loved the first book, this one even more. I didn’t know my opinion on a character or multiple characters for that matter can change so quickly and so much. I can’t say much without spoiling, but this book was everything good about the first book multiplied. The romance, the adventure, the memorable moments, the characters, it was all so amazing. It’s been about two weeks since finishing and I find myself watching videos and staring at that book wanting to immediately read it again it was so good. Definitely the best book in the acotar series.

ACOTAR is good, but ACOMAF is even better. I grew to love Feyre so much more, and the ending gave me chills!

Holy wow… Mackenzie had told me that book one was eh but book two was where it was at and MAN SHE WAS SO RIGHT. I FLEW through this book! (Spoiler) Wow Rhys and Feyras relationship was so well written. I loved all the little moments that made their romance so much more believable than the insta-love crap that Tamlin and Feyra had. Also Tamlin is messed the hell up, Lucien is a little pushover bitch, FUCK THOSE QUEENS AND HIGH PRIESTESSES, I loved the found family Feyra gained. And that ending??? I was on the edge of my seat! That was such a wild ride!!! Oh and chapters 54 and 55? I do understand now also there was a chapter several chapters before that was delicious as well. Wow this was just such a fun read that I didn’t want to put down.
