This series transports you back in time to an era of both courtly manners and wild west. It is captivating and each story, be it novel or novella, read true to life. While we'll may never to able to actually revisit this time period in person, this is the next best thing.
Beatrice Bests the Burglars is a quick trip back to 19th century San Francisco to Annie's boardinghouse where we meet a character who mainly exists on the sidelines during the novels. It was lovely to make Beatrice's acquaintance and spend the day with her.
