I was having fun with the comic, but it doesn’t sound like writer is good to support :(

I was so excited about this title and while I am still eager to continue on with at least the next volume to see where this story goes, this volume as a whole was pretty underwhelming. To be fair, there is a substantial amount of worldbuilding that needs to be done in order to establish a dystopian-esk world where girls going through puberty start turning into large, man-eating cats, but there was very little plot here. We don't really even get an arc of any kind in this volume. Here we're introducing the characters, the world, and maybe an introduction into the plot of this series.

So, overall not crazy about this volume, but I really love the premise of this so I'm hoping I'll enjoy future volumes of this one.

I loved Mockingbird, and I found this intriguing, but I didn't feel like I got a lot out of this volume other than the premise. I'll pick up the next volume, but I didn't feel like this was a story in itself.

Interesting and a bit wild and unique. Interested to see how this really plays out

Give your kids Bitch Planet instead. Another Portland comic creator as well with less IRL TERF grossness.

Great graphics, colouring & story, alternating with pictures and "advertisements". Full of criticism on the patriarchy, funny, lush and entirely unique. Recommended for cat lovers and readers who like their graphic novels with a twist.
