Just what I needed, but didn’t know it until now.

This is probably one of the best books that I’ve read in several months. Don’t take that as a bad thing; I read all the time so that’s saying a lot.
The dialogue between the two main characters flows so well. You know how you read a book and the words just feel forced? Well, not in this one. It was kinda magical to read.
The main female character is snarky in a fun way, and not a pushover, but regardless, the main male character sweeps her away anyway. He’s relentless, and does morally gray things like the series is called, but darn, does that make him more appealing.

If you’re looking for something refreshing, and not full of fluff, give this a chance. I loved it enough that after I finished reading in KU, I turned around and bought it.
Now, I’m off to start reading her other previous books.

At first I totally loved this story, it has a total You’ve Got Mail feel to it, and I’m here for it! I don’t think I’ve laughed more while reading a book before. It’s hilarious and Emery is so real and relatable. I’m glad she’s not made out to be a bombshell and she’s just a regular short, curvy, funny chick. It’s easy to predict what’s going to happen as a reader though. It’s a little annoying Emery doesn’t catch on, but once she does I feel like her reaction is appropriate. However, I kind of hate how she was angry and not broken hearted. If someone did this to me I don’t think I could trust them. I kind of wish she would have had a break down and cried about it, they potentially could have had an emotional fight where they lay their insecurities on the table and spoke their truths. I feel like JT missed an opportunity to write a really emotional, meaningful, and memorable passage. Instead she went with anger and humor, which is fun, but I would have enjoyed a more emotional lovey scene.

A morally Grey Man, who proposes a marriage of convenience five seconds after you meet him….

Liars like Us is the latest brilliant read from J.T. Geissinger, and all of these elements converge to make for a mind-bending blend of suspenseful romantic genius. As usual, expect the unexpected.

Callum McCord is the CEO of his family’s multi-billion dollar media empire.
He’s high-handed,calculating, mysterious, and 100% obsessed with Emery.

Emery is a lifelong bookworm who owns her late father’s bookstore. After years of financial and relationship struggles, she’s ready to catch a break.
Just when she thinks things couldn’t possibly turn around for her, and her friends and employees, in walks a stunningly handsome stranger offering to change her life. The catch? She has to agree to marry him.

Life with her new husband is anything but normal , and even though nothing is easily explained, the hardest thing to accept is how easy he makes it to fall for him.

Full of twists and turns, the story is one that will make you cackle with laughter, swoon, and believe that the unlikeliest of love stories are still a possibility.

This book was so funny and cute the couple in this book did not hold anything back. The female took no crap and was so headstrong I was what is going to come out her mouth next like she stood toe to toe with Callum. The book was wild and sexy like I was waiting for the other shoe to fall. I can’t wait to see more of these in the next story. #bookstagram #books #bookworm #booklover #bookish #bookaddict #bookaholic #bookblogging #booktok #igreads #insttabooks #booksbookboooks #kindlepaperwhite #bookobsessed #bookstagrammer
