The last time I read this book was the year it came out. I was thirteen and in the eighth grade. The only thing I remembered about it this time around as I’m seeking to finally (FINALLY) finish the Heroes of Olympus series was the ending. The ENDING. It wasn’t as bad this time around because I’m able to just hop into the next book right away but god do I remember the pure AGONY of having to wait for the next book. Somewhere along the line while I was waiting for it, I just never got around to picking it up. So here I am: 21 years old and finally picking up where i left off, and I’m so glad I am.

Really enjoyed a lot of the dynamics that were created once the seven all got together. Some characters felt out of character (e.g Percy in that one discussion about Nico)
