I read this book for school just after reading Oedipus the King. I enjoyed following the storyline and seeing how Oedipus' curse affects his children. Some of my favorite lines in this play were those said by Haimon to Creon when Haimon tries to discourage his father about the sentence he gives to Antigone. Although, I do wish that Ismene had been given closure
