I think this would've been a 5 star for me, had I read it at a different time and as a physical copy.

Zipper Mouth is probably more enjoyable and easier to follow if you don't read it while congested and with a headache while on a train.

The most beautifully written novella I've ever read. I loved the character, her voice was so unique, and clear, and funny.

The writing is bad. I can get over a characteer's perspective being off and influencing the writing style but even the formatting isn't right. Too many noticeable issues.

A narrator who is almost permanently strung out, either hungover or drunk, and unapologetically (or obliviously) unaware. The ramblings were funny but not funny-funny, but not peculiar-funny, and eventually lost me in the last dozen pages as I pushed through to the end. The narrator is so hilariously delusional about herself that I couldn't help but cheer her on. Fuck Jane, who said the narrator is more of a mess than she is while pushing her to buy heroin after two weeks clean. I saw Steve and Cherry as the true stars, and the two Tammy-centric sections remain the highlights of the novel.

I have no idea how to rate this tbh. I feel breathless. Review to come.
