This was such an interesting book! It was my son's favorite "school book" this year, and I really enjoyed it as well. It connected and brought to light a lot of bits of history that were unknown to me or that I hadn't thought about the connections or effects.

Not sure why the title of this book is 1493 when the 1900’s were talked about more than any other time period. It started off great but lost me when started talking about rubber tires which is far from 1493. Disappointing!
