FIVE Stars -Hands up :)

From where should I start... It is one hell of a book, I loved it.
it is the kind of book I can feel the mc pain, regret, happiness, and thoughts. at the same time, it's intellectual and a place you can learn something from it.

**********SPOILER ALERT!**********

I was cheering for Declan and Felix from the start but he ended up with Ezra and I am not sad about it. Declan is one of my fav characters in the book along with Leah, but I can't bring myself to not see how great is Ezra he is an amazing person, understanding and supportive. he did everything he can for the person he loves.

At the end of the book, I found myself still wondering what kind of mom is Felix mom. I could never picture her as a mom, she is one of the worst versions of moms that I have ever heard of or read about.

I do understand why this book is so popular between readers and a lot of people recommend it, it deserves its reputation. I hope everyone finds his own happiness just like "Felix".

Usually, when I think of Empowerment there is a picture of a woman in my head, yet, Felix gave me another picture of empowerment. He is a strong person, he did what he believed in and felt like without hurting others and that's what people should do. you don't need to be sorry for who you are! no one is perfect! but everyone should mind their own business!!

For the first time, I got to read about transphobic people and to what level of damage they can do to transgender people. It is scary how Felix felt receiving those messages, they were not satisfied with hating him from a distance, they wanted to harm him to bring damage to his soul!! glad it didn't work!!

Recommended 4 sure\ THIS IS GOLD :)

Very, very mediocre. Which is a shame, because I’m very glad that these kind of stories are being published in the YA world. I just didn’t think that this was a standout in any way, and I found the characters to be mostly flat and uncompelling, including Felix himself, which can never override the level of diversity a book has: it still needs to be a good book. I know the characters are teenagers but they just came across and unlikeable and unrealistic. Read I Kissed Shara Wheeler for a much better recent queer YA novel.
