Absolutely adored this sequel. I always love Sinclair’s writing and she didn’t miss with this one.

So I really loved the first book in this stand-alone inter-connected series, and I'm a sucker for the best friend's dad trope so happily picked this one up. Although I did enjoy this book and read it pretty quickly, I overall just found it a little bland. It was missing something in the group dynamics (with the exception of Gabe and Santiago) that just let it down. Adding in being heavy on the miscommunication trope (my least fave) it just kind of fell straight down the midline for me.

I liked this a lot!!! A little too insta-lovey for me since there’s no scent sympathy or fate in it, and Cadie already had a really solid foundation with one of the Alphas, but I loved it all the same.

We love older men. We love caring and doting men. We love dominant men (in our books), and we love besties who just *get it* and I just really thought this was so sweet!!!

I will say I’m glad I read every book in this world before this one because phew 😅 there were a lot of cameos!!! But I loved it nonetheless. I had fun. I want more. Puck needed more time to shine.

(I received an arc in exchange for a review)
