I was curious because I also know L. Ron Hubbard as the founder of Scientology but I didn't know how influential he was as a Pulp Fiction writer. I hope to read more of his works, the ones that maybe Stephen King or Ray Bradbury highly recommend. The stories included here is The Crossroads, Borrowed Glory and Devil's Rescue. I commend the use of The Crossroads as the main title of the collection because it really served as its theme. 'A point in life where in a crucial decision has to be made.' My favourite is Borrowed Glory because to talks about being able to get anything you want but only for 48 hours; afterwards you have to take everything back. It leaves the question: Will this decision leave you a happier man or woman in the end? Or will it just leave you in painful agony of your short-lived happiness?
