Huh. This is not how I expected Your Throne Vol. 1 to go, but I have to admit that I love the twists. One volume in, and this series is already surprising me left and right! I can't wait to get my hands on the second volume (thankfully, I don't think I'll have to wait long).
There are two things I love about Your Throne. First, it's not afraid to get dark. In a world full of bubbly isekai, I love finding a darker treat. Second, this series is already proving to be full of intrigue, politics, scheming, and even a bit of murder.
I take that back. There are three things I love about this series. The final thing? Lady Medea is a competent woman. She can scheme with the best of them, and she can fight. Yes, please! Bonus points for developing characters and their relationships.

My favorite thing about this is that you really have no idea who the actual villian is here. I love me a good twisty turny.
I'm not usually a huge fan of body switching and it does drag just a bit in the middle but it definitely picks up more towards the ending again.

Honestly, both the art and story is stunning. Quiet frankly, I like direction manhwa is going and how interconnected each character is also plays a large part in story.

Situada en un reino ficticio, en una época medieval, combina mitología griega y fantasía para contarnos la historia de Medea Solon, una mujer que busca ascender como Princesa de la Corona para obtener el poder que la liberará del sistema que busca oprimirla. Medea es calculadora, fría y muy fuerte, es una guerrera experimentada y una estratega sin igual. No deja de sorprenderme como estas características vistas en un hombre se consideran "atributos" y en Medea la convierten en un peligro. Definitivamente los artistas del webcómic nos están acercando historias cargadas de significado con ilustraciones preciosas.
Medea is our sharp and strong-willed female lead who has worked harder than anyone else (at least in this story) to climb her way up in the imperial ladder. She loathes Psyche, who sits in the throne she thinks is rightfully hers. She wishes, just once, to be her for a day. She gets her wish, but it turns out things are not what they seem to be.
A+ political intrigue, unique art style. A little fast on the pacing and cheesy on the exposition.
Characters are fleshed out well. The naming seems iffy to me though. Still on its first season on Webtoon.
