******SPOILERS******
Four books later and my life is significantly worse. Whoever read this series and thought it was a good idea to have it published deserves no light or happiness in their life. Seeing as I’m not a quitter, I saw this series through till the end and boy do I wish I hadn’t. There was only one relationship that I enjoyed reading about and it was Josh and Jules. Alex and Ava are the bane of my existence, Rhys and Bridgette were the only ones without obvious red flags but she had no self respect so I didn’t enjoy it plus they were incredibly boring, which leaves Christian and Stella, my second favorite couple but only because the other two were so insufferable.

I couldn’t get behind Stella forgiving Christian almost immediately. Everyone on TikTok made it sound like she really stood on business but in reality it was max 2 months. I understand that he saved her from her kidnapper but still. This man STALKED her for 3 years prior to meeting but all of that is forgiven in less than 3 months? Stella let this man so deep into her soul, she feels everything so deeply, and is afraid of letting people in, but I’m supposed to believe that she can forgive someone who lied to her so quickly? I couldn’t even believe that she told Christian deep things that she’s never shared with anyone before they started officially dating. She told him things that she hadn’t even shared with Ava, Jules, or Bridgette, which was truly insane to me. She didn’t know that man but she felt more trusting in his presence? Don’t piss me off.

I also couldn’t get behind that whole “falling in love” with Christian thing. Stella knew NOTHING about this man but all of the sudden she was in love with him?? Stella, the girl who doesn’t date, isn’t particularly interested in men or sex at the moment, fell in love with a man she knew practically nothing about in a span of like 2 ½ months? I don’t believe it. I, wrongfully, assumed that Stella didn’t enjoy sex because she needed a deep emotional connection with the person first, something that is completely responsible and understandable, but I guess I was wrong. All that it took was a hot billionaire. Ana Huang could have written a wonderful relationship between Stella and Christian where she gets to know him on a deep, emotional level, and then starts to fall for him and feel more comfortable with sex, but no, she wrote Stella wanting to fuck Christian on week 2 of moving in together.

I think my issue is that I am not attracted to brooding men that feel no emotions. Every time Stella said that a ghost of a smile was on Christians lips or that she felt butterflies when she almost made him laugh, I wanted to end my life. I cannot imagine how exhausting that type of love must be, especially when the man in question has no distinct personality characteristics besides being Alex Volkov and Rhys Larsen 2.0. And don’t even get me started on that fuckass nickname Christian gave Stella. Every time he called her “butterfly” I wanted to throw up. All of the other couples had good nicknames, “sunshine, princess, red” besides this one.

There really isn’t anything more to say because Stella and Christians relationship was so incredibly mundane. Reading this book felt like a chore which says just about everything you need to know.

Best one yet! My fourth book by Ana Huang. As much as I enjoyed the Journey of reading her books, I do have to say that I want to keep it at that. This book was a banger for me. And I feel like I shouldl leave it at that.

Definitely recommend. 100%

Wow. This was such a perfect ending to this series. First off, I did not entirely know how I would feel about the fake dating trope, but I was in love with how this played out. The intermingling lives of Stella and Christian in this made it work so well. It started off so quickly that I did not know how over 500 pages would fit. The story was captivating, emotion-filled, and a 5-star in every way. I know it is not for everyone, but it was for me.

Also, I can say that the ending was the icing on the cake! The epilogue and the bonus scene in the book I have were just a PERFECT way to wrap up everyone's stories! This series will be in my mind for a long time.

Gostei tantooooo, sem duvida um dos meus favoritos da saga e Christian tornou se um dos meus personagens favoritos. A química deles sente-se a léguas e fez com que devorasse este livro de 500 páginas em meia duzia de dias
