This was such a slow read, the ending was so anti-climatic. Honestly, this book was a waste of time.
A good suspense story. I think I had read it before having a Shelfari or Goodreads account. It seemed familiar, and I knew were it was going. It was great to get so many different perspectives of the story.

This was a very quick and easy read. It is an interesting story and moves at a very fast pace. Well worth a one time read..
Such a fast-paced thriller! The writing is simple, yet drew me in from the very beginning. I love how the story comes together from so many viewpoints. Miss Clark just knows the correct descriptions to make me cringe and give me goosebumps!
Mary Higgins Clark pretty much never disappoints. I was actually surprised to find that this was originally published in 1977. It was only when I found myself asking why the characters were using payphones rather than cell phones that I looked up the publication date.
A good, fast-paced mystery. I picked it up off my shelves of books I pick up at thrift stores for $0.25-$0.50 while trying to decide what to read next, knowing it would only take me a day or two to finish. It was an engrossing story that kept me on the edge of my seat.
