a fairly quick read for its length. Liked the first half better - focused more on the characters. I thought it turned into a bit of a jumble towards the end. The author just kept throwing out great big chunks of Plot laced with Mega Cool Stuff and Famous Victorians without ever slowing down to let the characters (or the reader) absorb any of it.
