This could’ve been a small town romance for the ages except we have people in their 30s and 40s acting like they are not those ages. ALSO, no need for random ass plot twists and crazy shit happening in a SMALL TOWN! Just make a cute cozy small town romance, it doesn’t need all the other shit to make it stand out. This book felt like watching a movie that’s so bad it’s good and having to finish it just to see how everything will play out. Glad this book is no longer on my TBR and I can move on.

i was this close for giving out 4 stars but again, as much as i love the story (it's wholesome and definitely got me choked up a bit0, i didn't really feel it with the hero. he's wishy-washy and definitely could be better.

DID NOT FINISH
I could not get into this book. I stopped reading when 40+ year olds started fist fighting...like grow up. I also do not like books with the lead being a cop.
