I hate when characters are separated for a long time in my books. Middle was just about how much Cosima loves BDSM and them scheming. Definitely could have ended at like the 75% mark. By the end I was kind of bored Cosima kept ending up in the same situation over and over again. It dragged on for too long.

This one is just bonkers!
Crossed some hard limits for me.
Maybe because I knew there was a second part and because this is a dark romance I spent most of the time expecting something to happen that would justify or make me forgive Alexander for any of the things that happened to Cosima. But I just couldn't! Also, the plot was convoluted and a hot mess in the second half of the story.

Enamoured is the second/last book in the enslaved duet and we follow the same characters.

I really enjoyed the first 60% of this book, I loved the time skips, the character development, the tension, the secrets and of course the spice all the good stuff. It really was somthing that i wanted out of the first book. But then they got back togheter pretty quickly and i wanted him to grovel a bit more then he did, but fine. Their relationship was intresting to follow and i really enjoyed their whole dom/sub dynamic. They both had character development stories, i did love hers more them his. But it was kinda sweet at times. The whole "revenge" thing was fun to follow, but after that got solved for the most part we still had like 40% left of the book.

I really tried to read the whole 40% but after the Dante scene i just couldn't anymore. I skimmed some pages, and overall skipped the whole part 5 (i think it was part 5 i'm not sure) I read a bit of the happy ending, which was cute but i'm don't want to sit trough 2 hours of some crazy kid and his dad. Also i didn't want to spoil myself for the next book, which i know how it turns out but the time skips just mess up with my timeline xD

Overall, I really enjoyed the first half of this book, I though this could been easly a 4 star. But the last half just was just dragging on and on and I kinda made me dislike the story. I have a huge soft spot for Dante and i'm excited for his story but I'm kinda scared because i didn't love this duet and i'm scared the next on will have the same issues. But we will see.
