I honestly didn't think I'd end up liking this book as much as I did. I enjoyed Percy's growth as a person, discovering herself and becoming a version of her she always could've been if she'd had the courage. I saw parts of myself in her and maybe that's why I found her so grating at first. By the end I wanted another 100 pages. I wanted the next chapter of Percy.

Page turner, easy to read
Wasn't in love with the writing, like it wasn't stand out
I liked some of the references but I think I am not at the right age to appreciate all of them, I mainly only picked up on some of the more mainstream 2000s and then the 70s kind of era references which was fun.
Some of the music references did make me cringe quite hard though, like where she quoted a song lyrics so unironically 🫣🫣 hard to read. 
Overall kind of extremely average feelings on this. Not a stand out but I still enjoyed reading it. Oh also noting that I really started to dislike Percy 🫤
