Loved this cute story and how the dog tells her tale. Very enjoyable and made me laugh at times.
Trent and I listened to this story about a dog that is more than anyone expected. It is a true tribute to rescue and service dogs within a story filled with humor, lots of feelings, suspense, and love.
This was really cute and made me cry. Hoyle really knows how to write dogs, which might sound weird to say, but she really strikes the balance of writing a non human character who nevertheless understands the human world. Stella's perseverance is so admirable, and she's such a sweet character.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has ever had a special bond with a dog or just loves animals. It was a very cute story and I liked how it was told from the dog's point of view.
Thank you Shadow Mountain publishers and McCall Hoyle for sharing this adorable and heartfelt novel with me! My daughter and I read it together and we laughed so hard at some of the things Stella would do but we also were so heartbroken at all the things she didn't understand. This is a great story of loss and new families and new beginnings.
Nice story of over fear and forming new bonds. Told from the point of view of Stella the Beagle. The character of Stella is well developed and the girl Chloe is a nice addition. Would recommend to fans of the Dogs Purpose books.
I LOVED this dog story. It starts with a little tragedy, but I loved the places the author took it!
