I really wanted to love this book but it was just ok for me.

I loved Anna and Keane, enjoyed their budding friendship and journey.

I just found myself skimming a lot. It just did not grab me for some reason.

Fun book with moments of heartache and romance .  Enjoyed the description of all the islands traveled to in the Caribbean.  If you like sailing this is a great read.

Rounded up from 3.5 stars. There were parts of this story that were brilliantly written. The emotion was powerful. It was reduced for me, though, with the extraneous cursing. I could have gone with less graphic set scenes, as well. With all that being said, I still look forward to reading the next in the series.

this book reminds me of the movie Adrift (2018) but in a good way (bcs the movie was a total bore). Keane... idk bcs of the k in the name and the sea + boat/ship background, i picture him as kenneth branagh which totally ruins the attractive factor lmao bcs keane sullivan IS attractive and kenneth is... not my type lol. anna is likable, the plot isnt stagnant, beautiful description of places.

check TW. this is a wholesome story about tackling grief, chasing adventure, finding a purpose, and falling in love again after the death of a significant other. there were lots of important life lessons sprinkled in here.

An interesting and moving book about finding yourself outside of the grief that’s kept you stalled in life. A romance, yes, but more of a solid story about the individuals in it and their growth.
