this was quick, too quick, which meant the love story was predictable and had nothing new to it. it was a bit sweet but if it had been longer and more plotted out it would have been better.

This was an absolutely delightful stand alone novella. I admit that one of my favorite tropes is Brother’s Best Friend/Best Friend’s Sister. I just love when someone you have grown up knowing becomes more.

Sebastian and Mary were such a fun couple. They’ve both been harboring unrequited love for the other but felt they couldn’t do anything about it. While circumstances drive them together … neither is disappointed. This makes for a lot of fun banter and sexy time on their unconventional honeymoon. Dare has a great sense of humor and this such an easy read.

A little frustrated that this really begins with lying, but otherwise a fun time.

Short sweet and so funny I actually cried laughing at the coq au Vin joke
It's a short story but I was still surprised by the plot
I didn't expect the brother to be dead but made sense or else the story would have had to be longer
