Didn't love the art and found the story to be pretty standard. Not sure why this got such rave reviews

Kinda a weak ending to an otherwise interesting story.

Such a joy to read. I’m a sucker for any Alien franchise media so I’m a bit biased. I didn’t mind that the story didn’t have much originality from other Alien plots because I had so much fun reading it. Art was incredible- had to linger on a few pages just to admire the artwork in its entirety. Not sure it would be a 5 star for most, but it’s been one of my favorite reads of 2021!

I honestly think this is a horror masterpiece. Sure it's a throwback to the original film, focusing on claustrophobic horror and dread rather than action and spectacle. But if you're a fan of the original 1979 Alien, that's the type of story you like. It's a tense story about a crew investigating an unmarked vessel that contains a team in cryogenic sleep, a ship in ruins, and a parasitic monster waiting to attack. It's everything I want out of an Alien graphic novel to be honest and quick read to boot!

Grisly, gritty, well paced. Everything you'd want in an Aliens comic.

Finds a way to echo the original Alien movie without merely repeating it. I read this on my tablet, didn't feel right to use the guided view feature cos these pages need to be taken in as pages so you can fully absorb the way they blur hardware into soft flesh.

Awesome art and well put together story. Could be longer though, as to explain the origins of the alien infestation.

Now this is how you write an Alien story. Just retell the first movie in a slightly different setting with slightly different characters. Throw in a little bit of weird storytelling and you've got it made. Short and sweet. The manga vibes of this comic are off the charts, and that far from a bad thing
