I loved Southern Storms and when I met Connor in that book I was excited to want to know more about him. And man this book… #Sigh… This author knows how to make your heart melt

This book..... oh,man... I loved the meeting of the h and H. And I loved Connor so much. He was a scene stealer in Jax's book and in this one he is the swooniest hero I've read in a while. The epilogues were so good too. I cannot put into words how good this story was and how much I loved the characters.

DNF. She really emphasizes on the past a lot and I prefer when authors start their book in the present. Not gonna give any stars because this is more of a preference. I just didn’t like how she started the book and I just don’t like her writing style.

Who'd have thought that Cole's story would be so emotional, so heartbreaking?
It was really interesting to read about the impact of health issues on the person experiencing them and their loved ones.
Aaliyah and Cole deserve all the good things in life! Aaliyah has been through so much, growing up in the foster system, being cheated on and left at the altar by her shitty ex, being manipulated by her own biological mother, and dealing with heart disease. Cole has so much trauma from witnessing his mother's healthcare issues that he is scared to love and lose people. And yet these two found and healed each other beautifully

See it took me days to complete this book honestly could be because I’m not in the mood for a sad book or because this book was just boring idk honestly I love this author but this one I didn’t really like idk 2.5 stars for this one maybe I’ll try reading again …
