Não consigo expressar o quanto adorei este livro.

"Eastern Lights" é o segundo livro da saga "Compass" e até agora, o meu preferido. Aqui conhecemos, Aaliyah, uma jovem que acabou um relacionamento recentemente e não sabe como seguir em frente. Por outro lado, temos Connor, um milionário que adora ajudar as pessoas, principalmente quando aqueles que não tiveram uma vida fácil, como é o caso da nossa protagonista.
Numa noite de Halloween, em Nova Iorque, na cidade que nunca dorme, Connor e Aaliyah cruzam-se e as suas vidas são mudadas para sempre.

Desde o início que me apaixonei pelas personagens. Consegui identificar-me, em certos aspetos, tanto com a Aaliyah como com o Connor. Adorei ver a evolução de ambos ao longo do livro. Foi das mais bonitas histórias de amor que já li. É impossível ler este livro e não se apaixonar pelo Connor.

Recomendo muito!!

It felt a little bit unrealistic how everything worked out but i liked both characters, i liked the setting, the pace and the ending.

I cannot say enough good things about this installment of the Compass series! It took me like 20 chapters to realize that Connor is the same Connor from Southern Storms! I’m ride or die for grumpy x sunshine but this man had me rooting so hard for a “golden retriever bf.” I cried from beginning to end, except for the moments I was fuming while reading Jason’s parts. Connor’s only flaw? Not kicking Jason’s butt. OMG and Damian?! LOVE HIM. I like my romance books on the smutty side but the plot and characters were written so wonderfully that I didn’t mind how clean this book actually is (has only 2 seggs scenes, I think). If this is already on your tbr or you’re considering adding it, have some tissues ready before you begin

Das Buch war soo wunderschön. Connor fand ich schon im ersten Band soo sympathisch und cool (er war da aber noch jünger gewesen, denn jetzt war er so 24 bis 29 Jahre alt) und jetzt seine Geschichte zu lesen, war einfach nur toll. Aaliyah war genauso sympathisch. Man hat die Dynamik zwischen den beiden einfach nur gespürt. Es gab einige so süße Stellen und ich fand soo toll, dass obwohl beide Wunden und Narben hatten, sie trotzdem nicht die ganze Zeit nur traurig waren.
Das Buch ist bisher mein Liebstes von Brittainy C. Cherry (zugegeben, ich habe bisher auch nur 2 gelesen), und würde es mit 5/5 Sternen bewerten.
