This one took me longer to really get into the characters. I did not find it plausible these two would really like one another, but the longer their story unfolded I understood it better. I did feel like Jasper could have been given a little more of the broody temperament in the bedroom. She did do him justice, but I feel like Sloan needs a revenge arch, that’s just my opinion. I wanted this story to be like… Cade with confidence but she delivered me a BDSM man with less of it described. It was still a good story and earned all the starts, but I wanted a little more chipped off that facial to see the inner workings. So good.

I am so sad that Reckless isn't out yet...
I was so excited to learn more about Jasper, he's always been so mysterious yet alluring in the previous books in this series so of course I've been dying to see more of him and I wasn't disappointed, I loved jasper and I did really like Sloane too. I loved seeing Sloane grow into herself and find her strength to stand up to everyone in her life who desperately needed knocking down a peg or two. But I also enjoyed seeing Jasper grow into himself and slowly realize that he took deserves happiness.
I loved Jasper and Sloane together, how they just knew each other so well and what each other needed when they needed it etc.
I will say it was my least favourite of the series but clearly I still loved it. I just wasn't as invested as I was in the previous books, probably because it was a friends to lovers which never really grips me quite as much.
Now If anyone needs me I'll be In a corner bawling my eyes out, rocking backwards and forwards whilst I wait for the next book to release
