I’m not sure what this book was supposed to be - the blurb made it sound like a novel about the history of knitting in Canada. Instead, it was part memoir part history of the Cowichan sweater and Coast Salish knitters.
In the end, I don’t think it did a good job of either. There wasn’t really a fully fleshed out narrative or story, the book read like snippets of a half finished novel.
They also completely missed out on the territories…
