Read this in one sitting! Absolutely loved these two characters, the side characters and the growth between them all! There was only one part that made me feel a tad icky, and that was when Jolene was used, but she was also kinda cheating so it worked out

This is an adorable cottage-romantasy; nothimg scary here, whimsical worlds, sharp banter with some cleverly fun scenes, plus dual POV.

a lot of long winded descriptions of scenery— which is understandable bc she’s a human in far territory and everything is new! and exciting! but it became a bit dreadful
last 100 or so pages was a bit boring and i had to kinda power through it
