This was my first read of 2023, and let me just say this was AMAZING! This hilarious memoir was just what I needed to lift up my spirits after a tough emotional start to the new year. I read this in Leslie Jordan's voice, and I could picture him saying everything! This was short, sweet, hilarious, and a must for anyone who likes Leslie Jordan. The ending was so sad and made me tear up. Goodbye Leslie Jordan, you are missed!

“Well shit! What are y’all doin’?”

Note: I do not rate memoirs/autobiographies. It is not my place to give a rating to how someone explains the stories of their life.

I borrowed the audiobook for Libby and I absolutely adored it. I always loved Leslie’s personality and his quirkiness. He was always so real and true to himself. This book had me laughing out loud but I also cried when I heard his voice. I didn’t even know him but boy did he do a good job of making all his fans feel like family. Must be that southern charm 😉. I highly recommend this one. Even more so if you enjoyed Leslie’s comedy/acting.

You will always be missed, Leslie.

Meh. I love his southern drawl and the audiobook was quick but none of his anecdotes were earth shattering or amazing. Was bored a lot. Expected more.
