This really, really was a sweet read. I loved it!!! This series has been on my kindle for quite some time now I can't wait to read the whole series. GOD Brody was perfection just every little thing that he did and said "sigh" how could I not fall in love with him!!! Honestly all the characters were really likeable.
Now I'm running to the next. Can't wait to read MORE!!!

If I'm going by my ratings on the blog, I'd say somewhere between a 3.5 and 3.75.
I had to keep in mind that this was a NA novel and that they can get on my nerves easily. That being said, I enjoyed this one and the series kind of ate my brain this weekend.
I loved Brody, he was a really sweet guy...maybe a little too perfect for my taste. Kacie was a somewhat typical NA female character in that she had been hurt by a previous relationship and it held her back with Brody. That kind of back and forth in an MC drives me crazy but I got over it. I really enjoyed Kacie's daughters, The Twinkies, as dubbed by Brody. Brody and the Twinkies were adorable!
I wasn't 100% that I was going to continue to Book 2 in the series until the very end of book 1. There was just enough of a cliffhanger for me to run over to Amazon and buy book 2.

Kacie has twin girls, but her husband left when they were very young so Kacie moved in with her mom, who runs Cranberry Inn. On a dark and stormy night (ha ha), Brody's truck gets stuck right outside, and while they're full because of others seeking shelter from the storm, they allow Brody to sleep on the couch. It doesn't take long for Brody to notice Kacie, though Kacie isn't in the market for a guy and she knows Brody will be leaving. But Brody makes a real effort to become a part of her life, even though he's a professional hockey player. Kacie doesn't know this, which I think is part of what draws Brody to her, and when she finds out, she really tries to put the brakes on any relationship. But Brody is persistent and super sweet. Too bad his manager's wife is such a bitch! And, sadly, Kacie doesn't think she's anything special, so the bitch gets to her. Boo. But again, Brody is persistent. At the very end of this one, Kacie comes face to face with her ex, so I'm going to have to continue the series to see what happens. This isn't exactly a cliffy, but it is. I mean Brody and Kacie are good at the end, but then the ex, Zach shows up at the end of the last chapter.

Needed a feel good love story and this fit the bill! Brody is a dream and I'm so happy he found Kacie and the Twinkies.

Después de estar en el barco de: no estoy segura de qué me voy a encontrar con este libro, pero hay que darle una oportunidad; quise jugar un poco a lo seguro y busqué una novela que fuera dulce y tranquila, justo lo que necesitaba, y la verdad es que me alegra haberlo hecho, Room For You, es una de las lecturas más bonitas de este año.
Kacie Jensen es una mujer práctica porque la vida la ha obligado a serlo. Luego de que el padre de sus dos adorables hijas la dejara, se determinó a no volverlo a estropear, por lo tanto, tiene una lista de características que el hombre de sus sueños debe cumplir: responsable, estable y centrado.
El problema es que, cuando en un día de lluvia Brody Murphy entra a la posada de su madre, la desequilibra por completo. Su presencia la abruma y se da cuenta de que sería muy fácil enamorarse de él, pero Brody no es ni de cerca el hombre perfecto que Kacie ha estado armando en su cabeza.
Brody está convencido de que él y Kacie hacen una pareja estupenda y no parará hasta derrumbar todos sus muros y así demostrarle que no irá a ningún lado.
A veces, me encuentro con libros que me hacen sentir que serían perfectos guiones para una película romántica, y es justo así como sentí Room For You.
Desde el inicio, la novela fue lenta pero segura, su primer encuentro me pareció ideal. El insta love no fue exagerado o dramático, más bien algo realista, algo que puedo ver que pase.
La forma en la que la autora manejó su conexión, me hizo feliz. Es una relación en la que ambos se comunican y hablan, incluso si en algún momento Kacie no quería ser totalmente abierta, Brody no la forzaba o le hacía sentir que se lo debía.
El punto en el que creo que la lectura decayó un poco, es en la distancia que había entre ambos, sí, las charlas que tenían me parecieron dulces pero a veces sentí que hubo huecos en la historia, dejando escenas muy ligeras, en las que se pudo haber jugado un poco más con los personajes.
Me gustaron las intervenciones de los amigos de ambos así como de los padres, no todas las novelas involucran tanto a la familia y es algo que aprecio, que Room For You, lo haya hecho. La relación que ambos tenían con sus respectivas madres me hizo sonreír más de una vez.
Incluso la separación no fue tediosa, tuvo un buen manejo y me encanta que Brody haya despedido a Andy, para enseñarle una lección a su horrible esposa.
Una de las coas que siempre pido, es que cuando se trata de libros con niños en ellos, haya una relación más profunda, así como convivencia, y aunque creo que Kacie es una gran madre, me faltó un poco más de esos momentos madre e hijas, y lo mismo pasa con Brody (que por cierto amé que las apodara Twinkies).
Al final el accidente trata de cubrir un tanto más esta parte, y es ahí en donde por fin pude sentirme un poco más satisfecha.
Odié el final, porque yo estaba muy lista para su final feliz. Me he acostumbrado a las series en donde los siguientes libros tratan acerca de los demás personajes, por eso, la verdad es que no pensé que la historia de estos dos siguiera, aunque viéndolo ahora, me alegra que sea así, ya que de esta manera su romance podrá enriquecerse y fortalecerse.
Estoy lista para saber qué hará Kacie en el siguiente libro.

This was a cute story. I love, love Brody! What an amazing man! I loved all the characters from Fred and Sophia to Alexa and Lauren to Viper. Especially loved the Twinkies. I can't wait to read the next book.

Although I understand why she's skeptical with everything that's going on I still almost pulled my hair when she let her insecurities won over and over again. But she's lovely nonetheless. And the Twinkies were beyond adorable.
I have this weird thing with goalies. I was always immediately drawn to them (Lundqvist, Ward, Läck, you name it). They have a certain pull on me it's not funny. So, consider yourself warned, Mr. Brody Murphy! Wink, wink.
